Coach Mitch and our 12u went to Hampton Virginia to the AAU DI Nationals and came back with a 5th place finish.
In pool play our #YoungChoz faced North Carolina’s Team United Black (59-33), Tennessee’s NYBA Elite 2025 (64-33) and Virginia’s 757 Hurricanes (56-40) to finish 3-0.
The first round of bracket play brought North Carolina’s Team Felton Triad Hornets (59-33) to advance to the Elite Eight. Once there our #YoungChoz faced the defending National Champions, from Detroit Michigan Reach Dream Team 2025 (56-43) failing to reach the Final Four.
Pride and determination drove Coach Mitch and his Gauchos to continue to exhibit what it means to be a Gaucho. Georgia’s Team Elite Proteges 2025 (47-39) and North Carolina’s Best Academy (57-52) fell to leave our Gauchos standing in 5th place looking at what could have been in the Final Four.
