Coach Dwayne and our 3rd grade Young Choz continued to roll over their opponents at The Dru Joyce Classic formally the “King James Classic” They dominated their opponents in pool play: Monarchs Basketball (Team DaCosta) 42-21 and Shut Em Down Athletic Club 35-10. In bracket play they turned up their intensity to make an assault on the championship. First up was the Dayton Kings, who the brought out the “Gauchos D” in a 28-8 win. Then in the second round our Young Choz stepped up their offensive game for a 52-37 victory over the Dream Chasers Elite. The win sent our Young Choz to the championship game.
The roll came to a sudden stop here. Our Young Choz ran into or got ran over by the All Indy Gym Rats in the championship game. All Indy Gyms Rats gave our Young Choz a 43-14 wake up call. The complete dominance has Coach Dwayne excited to get in the gym. Congrats to All Indy Gym Rats for a job well done.
