The 12U, 6th grade Gauchos brought home All of Made Hoops hardware on St Patty weekend. What should have been a Gaucho Gold Championship game, turned into the Gauchos sweeping both Gold and Silver divisions. First, Gauchos(Mitch) avenged a 2 point loss, which ultimately knocked them out of the Gold division bracket play, with a 13 point victory over the NY Bulldogs in the Silver division championship game.
This was followed up by Gauchos(Croft) defeating Team Jacko, who Gauchos(Mitch) had defeated by 6 points in pool play, in a 2 point thriller for the Gold Championship title. This is Coach Croft’s second chip in this years Made Hoops series.
When you walk in the Choz you will always see several of these 6th graders working on their skills. Their efforts are beginning to show in the hardware they bring home. Next week they travel to Spooky Nook PA. for an Agame showdown. We might see a Choz championship game. I know they will be in the gym working together to display their skills next week.
