After finishing 9-1 in 3 Made Hoops sessions our 7th grade Gauchos was primed to bring home the championship trophy. On the way our Gauchos defeated Boo Williams in the first round 48-42. With such a sluggish start against an undermanned Boo Williams team Coach Dante put fire to his team as they prepared for Team Final.
Against Team Final our Gauchos brought the PAIN. With the usual pressure defense and fast break offense Gauchos 2025 defeated Team Final 60-45.
Gauchos, Sunday and The Championship game, all is good in Gaucho Land. The championship game brought U Play Collective from Canada. The first game, of the first session of this years Made Hoops 7eague featured The Gauchos verses U Play Collective, which our Gauchos won 43-36. U Play Collective came prepared to avenge that loss. Play was close for the first few minutes of the game, but U Play gained a 5 point lead and never gave it back. Our Gauchos never gave up and fought throughout the game only to come up short to a very good U Play Collective 48-39.
Though our boys came up short this time they have served notice to the country that these Gauchos are here to win Chips.
