Gauchos 10U/4th Grade Black with Coach Dante Croft, May 5th, 2017, Gaucho Gym, Bronx, NY

GAME 1: Gauchos 10U BLACK Wins Landslide v. Rising Stars.

With an active, focused team effort defined by rebounds, steals and accurate shooting,

Coach Dante Croft’s Gauchos 10U Black team took a solid, early 31:7 lead in the 1st half.

The Rising Stars came back after the half hungry for points, but couldn’t penetrate the solid Gaucho defense.

10U Black kept them well at bay, ending the game with a 41:19 CRUSH!

Their combined efforts resulted in a total 20 assists.

They also did a great job as Floor Generals, leading their team and showing their opponents that

Gauchos’ brand of teamwork is the number one priority for success on court, and off.

GAME 2: Gauchos 10U BLACK Wins Convincingly v. Running Royals.

The irrepressible force of Coach Dante’s 10U/4th Grade Team reappeared stronger than ever on the Gaucho Gym home court for the 2nd time in one night.  These tireless, driven young men held their opponents, The Running Royals, to only 9 points in the first half, taking a commanding 29:9 lead.

In the 2nd half, Gauchos10U BLACK sent the Running Royals running for cover through unselfish play, high quality assists, a strong percentage of successful 3-pointers, and overall consistency. In the end, all agreed it was a well-deserved 51:21 victory.

High scorers in Game 2 were Payten Smith-Alison #35 with 14 points and 9 assists,
