Young Choz place 2nd in Vegas Fab 48
Coach Dante took a 10U team of Gauchos to Las Vegas and found silver in the desert. After a tough first game loss to Night Rydas Elite 25-7, coach Dante got our boys back on track. With close wins over BTB (26-21) and BTR 2024 (36-33) our Young Choz earned a first round bye in bracket play.
In Bracket play it was hard fought grind it out games in the desert heat. Though the gyms were air-conditioned the games were fire. Arkansas Hawks turned up the heat when they pushed our Young Choz into a 44-43 victory. It took a last second buzzer beater from Naz Simmons to defeat BTR 2024 again in the Semi-Finals 37-36. In the championship game these 10U Gauchos faced the Night Rydas Elite again. We played much better than the first game but the results were the same, a 56-44 beating from the Champion Night Rydas Elite.
They played well and hard for the first time on the Vegas strip. They will be back, ready for the bright lights of Vegas. But this time they will be looking for gold.
